Bachata Level 1
This class is for the absolute beginner, with no previous Latin Dance experience! In this class series you will learn the basics of Bachata that applies to both Modern Style & Traditional Style. The course focuses on fundamental lead and following techniques, as well the technique for leading foundational ‘Sensual’ movements. This beginner level class covers all the basic building blocks to get you out on the dance floor.
Bachata Level 1.5
This class builds on our Level 1 class. In this class students will learn 1 to 2 concepts per class that build the “intermediate” foundation for social dancing. Concepts can include more complex “Latin movement” within the basic step, applying “Bolero” to lead & follow sequences, lead & follow of upper & lower body isolations, “media”, “impulso”, and possibly other concepts, time permitting.
Bachata Classes
Bachata Level 2
Building on the “intermediate” foundation concepts in Level 1.5 - Level 2 focuses on chaining together these concepts into social dancing patterns. Students will get to solidify these concepts through repetition of concepts and patterns. Footwork & Sensual Style body movement skills are also included in the “warmup” portion of the class.
